Week of October 9-13

Message from Rocky Mount: Students will be dismissed at 12:20 this Thursday, October 12, for teacher training time. Students will also be dismissed early all next week for Conference Week. Dismissal will begin at 12:20 all next week so that the buses can leave the school at 12:30. Don't forget the Book Fair will be in the Learning Commons during Conference Week.

Social Studies/Reading - finish Native Americans (Pawnee - Plains, Hopi - Southwest)

Geography - create a map of all the Native American tribes to see which region they lived in - make a map key

Writing - using a story arc to help map out thought for writing

Math - multiplication 2 digit by 1 digit, journaling with story problems

ELA - Spelling Bee

Computer Lab - Reading Inventory Test on 10/10 (you will receive the results of this test when you come for your conference next week)
