It's February already? Trying something new ... Our class has voted to do Secret Pals instead of the traditional valentine card exchange. The instructions will be coming home in this week's Tuesday folder, but basically: all students have randomly chosen a name from a basket and will be responsible for using the sheet to buy a valentine present for their pal ... limit of $10 at the most. Last year, the students really enjoyed doing this. Some of the present included a soccer ball, a coloring book with markers, stuffed animals, craft kits, and candy (of course). Please bring in your valentine by TUESDAY, February 13th. That is the day we will be exchanging gifts ... not on the 14th (since we will have kids in another classroom that day). Fourth grade will also be doing some Valentine STEM activities that day (2/13). Can't wait!
**Progress reports will be coming home in agendas on Friday 2/9.**
--Target will be on Tuesday this week instead of Wednesday.--
