Thank you, thank you, thank you so much for all the cards, snacks, and gifts that you sent in last week for Teacher Appreciation!!! What an awesome class I have! You truly made my week!!

Reminder: Early Release Day is this Wednesday. Students will be dismissed 2 hours early, at 12:30.

Ready for report cards? They will be coming home next week on 3/21. The last day of Quarter 3 is this Wednesday ... already! You probably know your child's grades though, since you have access to them online in ParentVue. :)

Book Fair is this week. Our class will be visiting first thing on Monday morning. Be on the lookout for their wish list the will be coming home in their homework folder that night.

Sneak Peek at our Week:

Social Studies/Reading integration - Lewis and Clark expedition, Louisiana Purchase, Gold Rush and mining towns (boomtowns), covered wagon STEM, start Oregon Trail (busy week) - Pioneer Day next week - check email later this week for supply donations

Math - types of lines (parallel, perpendicular, and intersecting), more types of lines (line segments, lines, points, and rays), learn how to use a protractor to measure angles in degrees

Writing - using different perspectives, finalize essays on same gender classroom informational writing

Friday is our rescheduled International Day ... can't wait!
