Report Cards will be coming home in agendas this Wednesday after school.
Georgia Milestones testing is approaching quickly. Here is more information from the office on that:
Rocky Mount’s Milestones/End-of-Grade (EOG) testing will be 8:00am-11:00am Tuesday, April 10th - Tuesday, April 17th. All testing students should be at Rocky Mount by 7:50am to begin testing at 8:00am. We want our students to do their very best during the test so Kindergarten-5th grade parents, volunteers, and guests will not be allowed access to Rocky Mount from 8:00am-11:00am 4/10-4/17. Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade parents will be allowed to check out their child during the testing time, but not go to the classrooms. Thank you for your understanding, cooperation, and support.

So - what that means for 4th grade is:
Tuesday, 4/10 - ELA section 1 (Reading/Writing)
Wednesday, 4/11 - ELA section 2 (Reading/Writing)
Thursday, 4/12 - ELA section 3 (Reading/Writing)
Friday - none (unless make-up tests from being absent)
Monday, 4/16 - Math section 1
Tuesday, 4/17 - Math section 2
Wednesday, 4/18 - done (unless doing make-up tests)
In our classroom, we keep things light and positive about this test. Mrs. Ragsdale, our counselor, came in and did a testing lesson with them so that their stress level goes down. Please check email later this week for a chance for you to send in personalized cheer notes for your child that I will have on their desk each morning.
