Week of February 4th

Even though the Patriots beat my birth town of Los Angeles, life moves on. :(

We did a Super Bowl project last week where the students did research to plan a trip to attend. They had to pretend they were from another state since the game was here, and find airline tickets, rental car prices, hotel, food, and souvenirs. Ask them how much their trip cost ... and next time you plan a trip out of town, let them help you research prices and possible even pick the hotel with a budget. They are ready. :)

Progress Reports will come home in next Tuesday's folders. You can always check for grades online though, so there won't be any surprises.
