Happy Monday! How was your three day weekend? Did you like having an extra day off without any school? Hope so!
Remember that we have a class Zoom meeting today at 12:00. Your parents received the link to it in their email last night. Tell them to check their spam folder if they don't see it, or contact me.
This week we will wrap up our Colonial unit, learn about liters, milliliters, and graduated cylinders. We will also celebrate Earth Day on Wednesday. Next week we will start our science unit on Heat.
Today's assignments:
Reading - Click here to learn what an artisan is https://mrnussbaum.com/history/13-colonies-artisans-and-trades, then use your Office 365 Social Studies folder to read the passages and answer some questions about artisans in colonial times.
Writing - Use your Writing folder in Office 365 to describe why artisans would want to live in colonial times. If you are not able to access Office 365, you can write it on email or use Word to complete this assignment and send it to me.
Math -
1. Please use Clever to log into Brainpop Jr and search for the video on milliliters and liters – Here is the link if you don’t use Clever, but you’ll need to contact me for password and user name information: https://jr.brainpop.com/math/measurement/millilitersandliters/
2. Then click on your Office 365 Math folder (we haven’t used that one yet) and complete the worksheets that are in there. You can use the “Draw” tool on top to mark your answers.
Just for Fun - Take a video of yourself saying the pledge of allegiance and email it to me for the morning announcements.
