Monday 5/4/20

I know that you had a great weekend, because the sun was out and the weather was beautiful! We went to a parking lot by Kennestone Hospital and put up some chairs to watch the Blue Angels and Thunderbirds fly ... you know that Andrew wouldn't let me miss that! It was awesome! Hope you got to see them also.

Don't forget our Zoom at noon today. A link with the code was emailed last night.

Today's assignments:

Reading - Watch Generation Genius for a video called: Sunlight Warms the Earth. You will learn how the sun shines down on everything around us, sunlight warms the Earth's surface, and shade from tents, umbrellas and plants can reduce the warming caused by the sun https://www.generationgenius.com/?share=44A03

Writing - Use the class list in your Office 365 writing folder to write a compliment for each person in the classroom. I will put them all together and show them to you the last week of school. The names are in there for you. If you do not have access to the online folder, please email me for names so everyone can have this special keepsake from third grade.

Math -

1. Use Clever to log in to Brainpop JR and search “temperature” to watch a quick video on how to read a thermometer - or here is the link, but you'll need to check our class notebook chat page for the codes to get in: https://jr.brainpop.com/math/measurement/temperature/

2. Complete the thermometer sheet in your Office 365 math folder.

Specials - Tech Lab with Mrs. Morhaus - http://www.cobblearning.net/bellsferrytechlab/

Just for Fun - Make a time capsule for your family and bury it in your yard.

Extra work if your parents want you to do more (and a good way for you to go above and beyond for 3+'s:
